An established accounting firm in Johannesburg Eis looking for a newly qualified CA(SA) to join their team. This is an opportunity for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant who wants to build a career in a more hands-on, entrepreneurial and collaborative environment , where you're not simply another person in a large finance department. Working within an established accounting practice, you'll gain broad exposure across accounting, reporting, tax, compliance and advisory, while working closely with experienced finance professionals who are invested in your development. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial statements Perform accounting and general ledger functions across various clients Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules Assist with tax, statutory and regulatory compliance Support year-end processes and financial reporting Analyse financial information and provide meaningful insights to clients Assist with budgeting, forecasting and other financial projects Engage directly with clients and build strong professional relationships Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting Take ownership of assigned projects while developing broader commercial and advisory skills Job Experience & Skills Required CA(SA) qualification - newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply Completed SAICA articles Strong technical accounting foundation Good working knowledge of IFRS and South African tax Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent attention to detail Advanced Excel skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Must be based in or willing to work in Johannesburg East WIIFM A chance to take your CA(SA) qualification in a different direction.
