POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: A fast-growing technology organisation operating within the SaaS and IT compliance space is looking for a newly qualified CA(SA) to join its Finance team in JHB North. This is an opportunity to move into a highly commercial environment where you will gain exposure to a technology-focused business model while applying your technical accounting knowledge to real commercial challenges. The ideal candidate will be someone who is commercially minded, analytical and excited by the opportunity to work within a modern technology environment. Key Responsibilities: Support monthly financial reporting and management accounts Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes Prepare and review financial reconciliations and journals Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful commercial insights Assist with financial modelling and business analysis Support audit and statutory reporting requirements Assist with maintaining strong financial controls and accounting processes Identify opportunities to improve and streamline finance processes Work closely with management on financial and commercial initiatives Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required Support the Finance team across the broader financial function Job Experience and Skills Required: Qualification: CA(SA) qualification Degree from a recognised university Strong academic record advantageous Experience: Newly qualified CA(SA) or up to 1 year post-qualification experience SaaS \/ IT \/ technology experience non-negotiable Audit and financial reporting exposure Commercial finance exposure advantageous Strong understanding of accounting standards Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills Financial reporting Financial analysis Financial modelling Management accounting Strong technical accounting knowledge The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who is: Commercially minded and business-focused Academically strong and technically sound A first-time exam passer Analytical and highly detail-oriented Ambitious and eager to grow Proactive and solutions-driven Confident communicating with senior stakeholders Comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment Curious about technology and innovation Able to translate financial information into commercial insight Why consider this opportunity?
