SUMMARY:
DBN000221 – Accountant - 6 Month Maternity Cover – Kloof

Purpose of the Job:
Maintain and record financial transactions for the business.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
2. 5+ years of experience in administrative and accounting roles
3. Experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks
4. Proficient in Excel

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

1. Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts; maintain QuickBooks and support management reporting.
2. Manage invoicing, collections, supplier payments, and purchase orders.
3. Prepare VAT, PAYE, and support annual financial statements.
4. Assist with cash flow forecasting and debtor factoring.
5. Maintain company assets, contracts, and coordinate travel arrangements.
