SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a hands-on Contract Accountant to join our team for a 6-month assignment, who brings solid experience in investment accounting and a strong foundation in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance.
POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or similar)
- 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting role–Investment industry experience is essential
- Proficient in JDE, Excel, and other accounting/reporting software
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare & analyze financial statements
- General ledger management
- Monthly, quarterly & annual financial reporting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure tax compliance and statutory submissions
- Oversee accounts payable & receivable
- Provide audit support
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions
