New year, new opportunities. My client who is based in Pretoria, is looking for a newly qualified CA(SA) to join their team as an Accountant. They are looking for high academic achievements, a vibrant, full of energy and goal-orientated individual. Financial services and auditing experience are vital and must have completed three years articles with the BIG 4. JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Oversee the duties of the accounting team;
Implement accounting systems and processes;
Reconcile income statements;
Prepare monthly financial reports;
Control the master data of the general register;
Review and release online banking payments;
Ensure compliance with state revenue services;
Provide ongoing accounting and reporting support;
Manage the full financial process;
Prepare an expense budget report

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric
BCom Accounting or equivalent
BCom Accounting Honours/ CTA
Eligible to Register as CA(SA) or Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant/ CA(SA)

Experience:

Completed 3 years of articles at a Big 4 audit firm
Exposure to advanced Microsoft office package
Exposure to listed corporations in insurance or financial services will be highly advantageous

Skills & Competencies:

Logical and structured approach to planning and execution of tasks;
Exposure to advanced Microsoft office package
Able to prioritise effectively under pressure;
Honest, discreet, and able to maintain strict integrity;
Strong interpersonal and interaction skills;
Reliable and professional.
