Description

Duties include but are not limited to :

Ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close reporting and ensuring that the monthly packs, journals and reconciliations have been prepared with quality and accuracy standards.
Prepares monthly reconciliation of accounts with appropriate support/comments for finance manager reviews.
Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations and advise on any risks and/or opportunities and assess for any suggested improvements.
Uploads data into financial reporting system and prepare comments for B/U reviews.
Review account balances and variances against monthly and annual budgets providing feedback to relevant partners on all account anomalies.
Analyze and report on manufacturing department and the recovery of costs.
Assist with inventory management and costing including product profitability.
Analyze and report on costing enquiries and ad hoc reporting requirements.
Work with the AR and AP clerks to ensure all IC Transactions are processed in accordance with the company regulations.
Performs weekly (SIOP) Revenue, Orders, and Backlog reporting to the B/U management team.
Support inventory physical counts (Annual and Cyclical).
Assist with annual budget and forecasting cycle.
Acquire knowledge and understanding of Business Accounting Manual guidelines.

Contribute to internal and external audit activities for successful execution of the audit plan for the year.

Profile

Must have an Accounting Degree
2 - 5 years commercial experience - A Must
SAP Experience
Must come from a Large multinational or large corporate Business.
International Reporting experience

Job Offer

Upto R600 000 per annum
