JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client conceptualises and finances ground water solutions and has a position available for a qualified and experienced Accountant that reports directly to the CFO. This role is a specialised role that requires a broad understanding and problem solving of both simple and complex accounting problems.

Duties included but not limited to:

Financial Accounting including preparation of accounts, accounts receivables, debtors & creditors reconciliations, accounts payables, Bank reconciliations
Accruals including Journals and Cashbook
Fixed Asset Register
Insurance Claims
Inventory Control
Supplier Payments
VAT Returns
B-BBEE schedules
Creditor Schedules
Forecasting, Budgeting, Month end reporting, variance processes and other ad-hoc requests from teh CFO
Year end statutory and B-BBEE Audits
General Financial Admin

Qualifications and Proficiencies:

BCom Degree or Diploma in Accounting
Expert in MS Office especially Excel, Powerpoint and Word
Knowledge of Xero will be advantageous
