An international manufacturing conglomerate seeks an analytical and technically strong Accountant to join their South African team based in Johannesburg East.

In this role, you will be responsible for the full accounting function. Duties include, but not limited to invoicing and receipts, payments and expenses, debtors, reconciliations, statutory returns, budgets, variance analysis and financial statements, to name but a few.

This role will require an incumbent who is operationally inclined. The successful person will be play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of policies and controls, and streamlining of processes.

Candidates who think of themselves as driven, meticulous on attention to detail and conscientious in follow ups and feedback are invited to apply for this opportunity.

Education:
BCom in Accounting / Finance

Skills & Experience:
Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles will be beneficial
OR 4 to 5 years' experience in a full finance function role
Strong knowledge of financial standards and controls
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong Pastel skills is essential
Financial and business acumen
Strong personality
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
