  The Role:

  Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and posting of journals. 
  • Responsible for reviewing balance reconciliation.
  • Update and maintain fixed asset register. 
  • Calculate depreciation per category of assets and process journal entries monthly.
  • Process salary journals on a monthly basis.
  • Preparation of VAT recon and Tax pack.
  • Review all credit card transactions captured.
  • Review and approve payment packs.
  • Load Payments on Bank.
  • GL Review and Analysis.
  • Faciliate foreign payments with HO.
  • Handle payments with Group Treas0ury for approval.
  • Preparation of Balance sheet Recons.
  • Review and maintain IFRS 9 calculations.
  • Review and sign off on Purchase orders and Credit Notes as per DOA.
  • Collating monthly Forecast.
  • Collate 16week Cash Flow.
  • Report on all Financial Risks.
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations.
  • Monthly Reporting as per Business Requirements.
  • Assist FM with updating 13week cashflow financial and tax pack for half year and year end.
  • All ad hoc reporting required.
  • Budget preparation  financial year end and audit preparation. 
  • Ensuring all month end processes followed and deadlines are met.
  • Managing the debtors and creditors department.
    Raising all monthly provisions and accruals.
  • Finalising the trial balance for month end with any other finance duties assigned. 
  • Preparation of Financials up to Trial Balance

  Skills and Experience:

  Qualification Essential:

  • B Com Accounting (Hons)  
  • Any ERP, preference will be given to Infor LN experience 
  • Excel

  Experience required:

  • Processing and reporting experience in regards to system.
  • 3 years hands on experience working in a finance department, with exposure to the full finance function.
