Overview
A well-established manufacturing business is looking for a
Cost & Management Accountant to join their
finance team.
This role suits a commercially minded finance professional who can turn financial and operational data into meaningful business insight. You will be responsible for
management reporting, costing, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and divisional reporting in a fast-paced, export-focused environment.
Strong experience in
manufacturing costing, multi-currency reporting, and business partnering is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts with commentary and variance analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting cycles
- Analyse product, customer, and divisional profitability
- Manage costing, overhead recovery, and margin integrity
- Support foreign entities with reporting, allocations, and multi-currency analysis
- Partner with operations and commercial teams to support decision-making
- Improve reporting processes and leverage data tools for efficiency
Requirements
- CA(SA) or CIMA (Completed)
- 5+ years’ management accounting experience in manufacturing
- Strong costing, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience
- Exposure to export or multi-entity environments advantageous
- ERP experience (Syspro / Dynamics 365 BC or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills (Power BI advantageous)
