Our client who is a leader in the industry is looking for an Accountant, this position will be based in Centurion and the ideal candidate must have a very good commercial / operational understanding of business. If you have a stable track record with proven management skills, then this opportunity is for you.

Requirements:

BCom Accounting or similar
Completed articles will be beneficial
At least 5+ years of proven working experience
Experience in review and interpretation of financial information
Experience in IFRS and a great understanding of inter-company transactions
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage a team
International experience in consolidations, transfer pricing and reporting
Ability to work in a pressurised environment while at all times maintaining an eye for detail
Excellent Microsoft office skills, particularly in excel and financial modelling
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Having strong communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations
Strong leadership talent, interpersonal and organisational skills
Good commercial and business understanding

Great understanding of:

Procurement:
- Working capital cycles
- MOQ’s and lead times
- Product costing and pricing
- Monthly reporting on cash-flow cycle
- Reporting
Stock Management:
- Minimum stock holding
- MOQ’s and lead times
- Overstock management
- Reporting

Duties:

The core function and scope of the Head Office Accountant is to:

Assist international finance and operational departments
Communication medium between international departments and head office
