SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established organisation operating within the agricultural industry, is seeking to employ an experienced Accountant to join their team. This role is based in Addo, Eastern Cape.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Further qualifications and accounting designations would be advantageous Minimum three years' relevant experience Knowledge of accounting and other financial principles and practices Understanding of sound governance principles and practices Computer literacy - MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and financial processing\/reporting software Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Plan, manage and coordinate finance related activities for the business Assist in preparation of annual budgets and monitoring actual spending versus budget Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts Reporting to stakeholders on financial and related matters Preparing cash flow forecasts and overseeing the day-to-day cash flow Evaluation of control environment, implementing improvements where appropriate Providing financial support to the operational side of the business Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
