SUMMARY:
Are you a dynamic, hands-on Financial Accounting with a strong background in the construction or projects sector? Our client, a well-established and fast-paced company based in Centurion, is seeking a talented EE candidate to join their finance team. Report to the Senior Financial Accountant.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities include:

Processing local creditors and sub-contractor payments (approximately 20 contractors)
Preparing the trial balance and management accounts
Handling salary journals, cashbook, and general accounting functions
Identifying and implementing improvements to systems and processes
Acting as a solid all-rounder in the finance department

Requirements:

Completed B.Com (Accounting) degree or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction/projects industry
Solid BuildSmart experience is essential
Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
A proactive and solutions-driven approach to accounting and finance operations
