SUMMARY:
A well-known and established Mining Distribution Commodity Company requires the above to manage and handle the CompanyÃ¢Â€Â™s full accounting function.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a BComm Accounting or related degree or diploma.
Must have experience working on Pastel Partner and Payroll.
Previous experience having worked in an Accountant or related role is essential.
Previous experience having worked in a Company distributing products to the mining industry is preferred but not essential.
Stock reconciliations experience is essential.
The successful candidate must ideally be familiar with a supply chain process.
Must be computer literate with intermediate Excel skills.
Previous experience being exposed with management accounts and working with forex is preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Raise Customer invoices, generate Supplier purchase orders and reconcile Customer accounts on a monthly basis.
Capture and reconcile Supplier invoices.
Perform full bookkeeping function up to trial balance on Pastel Partner.
Capture and process inventory on Pastel.
Handle the full function for creditors and debtors, taking the accounts to trial balance.
Handle stock management, inventory reconciliations and process journals (provisions and accruals) etc.
Present weekly and monthly finance reports to the Directors.
Process and calculate staff payroll.
Critically review management accounts.
Review and consolidate bank statements across journal and ledger entries.
Review and prepare trial balance and income statements.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
