Accountant - Reporting

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance (BCom Accounting or equivalent).
• Completed Articles (SAICA / SAIPA) preferred.
• Strong Excel and ERP systems experience (SAP experience advantageous).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and group consolidation.
• Analyse financial results, variances, and trends, providing insights and recommendations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies.
• Support the external audit process by preparing audit files and responding to auditor queries.
• Maintain the integrity of financial data within the ERP system and ensure reconciliations are up to date.
• Draft statutory financial statements and ensure timely submissions.
• Liaise with group finance and provide required reporting packs.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives in the reporting function.
