POSITION INFO:

A dynamic professional services firm is seeking an Accountant to join its outsourced accounting team. The firm serves a diverse portfolio of local and international clients and prides itself on excellence, accountability, integrity and a proactive mindset.

Minimum Requirements

Completed SAICA, SAIPA, or CIMA Articles
Relevant BCom degree or equivalent (professional qualification advantageous)
Minimum 1 year post-articles experience
Experience with Xero accounting software beneficial
Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Xero add-ons, Zapier) advantageous
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Positive and proactive “can-do” attitude

Key Responsibilities

Manage specific outsourced accounting projects and client relationships
Perform full accounting function including reconciliations, journals, and trial balances
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Assist with VAT and tax submissions and general ledger maintenance
Liaise directly with clients on accounting and reporting matters
Contribute to automation and system improvement initiatives within the accounting process

Salary: R20 000 – R35 000 per month + 13th cheque (depending on qualification and experience)
