Our client is looking for an Accountant Assistant to join their team in Kempton Park.

POSITION INFO:
- BCom Degree/Diploma in Accounting Science
- Sage/Pastel Accounting Knowledge & Experience [Processing until Trial Balance]
- Cashbook experience and knowledge
- General Journal Knowledge & Experience
- Depreciation Understanding
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
- Computer proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Advanced Excel, MS Teams & Word]
- Must be enthusiastic, presentable, disciplined and punctual
- Self-motivated, team worker and a self-starter
- Attention to detail, high accuracy levels and methodical
- Analytical thinker
- Inspire confidence with shared services team members and colleagues
- Fast thinker with problem-solving capabilities
- Must be able to show initiative
- Must be able to work in a deadline-driven, pressurised environment
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Demonstrates exemplary customer service and excellent verbal, written,
leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Assertive and flexible
- Ambitious and energetic
- Clear Credit and Criminal records
- Own transport
- Basic familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP systems [training
can be provided].
