SUMMARY:
Seeking a hands-on and driven Accounting Manager to oversee the daily accounting operations and lead a dedicated team. This role is ideal if you have long term goals for having your own Accounting firm, as the opportunity is here for the future.

POSITION INFO:
This boutique accounting and tax practice, pride themselves on delivering personalised, high-quality financial, taxation, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of SME clients. The Accounting Manager will be the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring the delivery of accurate financial reports, tax compliance and strategic business advice. Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Manage, train and mentor a small team of junior and intermediate accountants Financial Oversight: Review monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and annual financial statements for accuracy and compliance. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, offering proactive financial and tax advisory services Compliance & Tax: Ensure all client and corporate submissions (SARS\/CIPC) are completed accurately and timeously Process Improvement: Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement tech-forward solutions to streamline bookkeeping and reporting processes Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification Professional designation ( e.g. SAICA \/ SAIPA \/ CIMA ) is highly advantageous Minimum of 3 - 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within an accounting\/auditing practice Strong proficiency in modern accounting software (e.g. Caseware, Xero, SAGE Accounting, PASTEL) and Excel Sound knowledge of local taxation laws and financial reporting standards What is on Offer?
