JOB SUMMARY:
Accounts Assistant (Atlantis, Cape Town) R10,000 – R18,000

JOB DESCRIPTION:

I am looking for an Accounts Department Assistant for my client based in Atlantis.

Duties include:

- Processing invoices to clients, including but not limited to:

Calling with reminders and /or sending emails
Resolving queries
Sending out monthly statements

- Calling suppliers, including but not limited to:

Calling for invoices and statements if required
Resolving queries
Sending out monthly remittances to suppliers

- Human Resources, including but not limited to:

Adding new employees to the clocking system and signing contracts and processing required documentation
Checking clock-ins on a daily basis
Processing weekly wages on Sage Pastel payroll

Required:

- Diploma in Accounting / Finance

- Minimum of 3 – 4 years’ experience in a similar role

- Driver’s license and own car

- Excel (intermediate to advanced)

- Pastel payroll and Sage Evolution experience

- A minimum of 3 years of debtors and credit control experience

- Computer literate

- Must reside in Melkbos, Blouberg, Parklands or Table View
