JOB SUMMARY:
A multinational engineering and manufacturing consulting conglomerate seeks an experienced and analytical Accounts Payable Controller to join their team based in Durban North.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:

A multinational engineering and manufacturing consulting conglomerate seeks an experienced and analytical Accounts Payable Controller to join their team based in Durban North.

Duties include but not limited to:

Validate and process supplier invoices

Ensure the processing and allocation of supplier invoices are compliant

Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries

Maintain AP masterfile

Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts

Prepare and capture approved supplier payments

Reconciliation of sub ledger to the AP general ledger

Monthly review and reporting of open purchase orders

Monthly review of GRN balances

Reconciliation balance sheet accounts

Consolidation and reporting of group capex spend

Education:

Relevant finance qualification

Skills & Experience:

2 to 3 years' experience in a full function creditors / AP role

Experience with Syspro

Advanced MS Excel skills

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player

Own reliable transport is a non-negotiable as this role will include travel to various sites
