    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Role:

    We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Optimisation Consultant (Senior) for a Fixed Term Contract for Pretoria.

     

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Requirement to skill up:

    • Full understanding of the Company's specific purchase to pay processes flows for FI and CO including logistic integration
    • Company's specific knowledge (ITPM, Jira)

    Delivery activities:

    • Analyse purchase to pay processes in detail, to remediate bottle necks and optimise and automate the area using various solutions, from SAP enhancements, robotics, machine learning, automation tools as an example.
    • Analyse and Design the SARS Advance payment system required
    • Document process mapping in Visio / Symbio.
    • Research accessible Company's group options for optimisation and prepare business case if necessary.
    • Analysis and remediate processes that prevent invoices from first time invoice verification through automation.
    • r.t to process changes necessary to increase first time invoice verification, identify root cause, bundle common issues, define and implement projects to remediate the bottleneck.
    • Understand Business Requirements
    • Understand all customized solutions
    • Check dependencies of the requested changes and align with areas affected.
    • Validate and document requirements to be presented for decision and implement.
    • Write Specifications and interact with developers.
      • Ensure proper documentation (Design, Technical documents)
      • Follow ITPM / JIRA approach
    • Ensure that optimisation yields time savings for the Accounts Payable organisation. Define the time savings and measure the saving after implementation.
    • Align with Functional Consultants and Developers of the team and the maintenance team.
    • Assure quality of Design, take responsibility for all design work in terms of requirements
    • Create / Check Test cases, Perform UAT testing
    • Ensure manuals in place for any new system changes and other aspects of the Accounts Payable error.
    • Facilitate training.
    • Coordinate, plan, manage and perform team, business and supplier change management.
    • Maintain a Task / LOP list and make regular follow ups to ensure the tasks are completed on time
    • Fulfil Go Live preparation and successful execution (could be on weekends, late evenings)
    • Ensure implementation according to timeline.
    • Ensure availability during Go Live (Weekend) and Hypercare phase
    • Involve different business area, IT where necessary, facilitate and chair meetings for agreement and resolve.
    • Minute decisions and actions from meetings.
    • Make use of Power BI , Power BI Query, Clicksense, Clickview, excel , vbs coding to build dashboards for the accounts payable department to monitor output and bottlenecks. (reporting and KPI)
    • Analyse and improve the monthly Accounts Payable Reconciliation process.
    • Design and create semi-automated to automated Supplier recon file (Easy Supplier recon process)
    • Analyse and improve ad hoc processes as requested

     

    Qualifications and Experience needed for the role:

    • 3- 5 years Project environment â?? Purchase to pay process knowledge, SAP and automation project experience for manufacturing environment.
