POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities Successful candidates may be responsible for: Processing supplier invoices accurately and within agreed timelines Performing 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and goods received notes Preparing and processing supplier payments Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Managing AP inboxes and responding to vendor queries Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial controls Capturing and maintaining vendor master data Assisting with month-end closing activities and reporting Supporting internal and external audit requirements Building effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders Monitoring aged creditors and ensuring timely payment of accounts Maintaining accurate filing and record-keeping of financial documentation Desired Experience & Qualification Grade 12 \/ Matric Relevant Finance, Accounting or Bookkeeping qualification advantageous Minimum 2 - 4 years' Accounts Payable experience Experience within a Shared Services Centre (SSC) environment advantageous Experience processing medium to high-volume invoices Knowledge of accounts payable processes and controls Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics or similar Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills Accounts Payable Invoice Processing Supplier Reconciliations Vendor Management Payment Processing Shared Services Operations ERP Systems Financial Administration Compliance & Internal Controls Month-End Procedures Interested?
