POSITION INFO:
My client is looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to join a dynamic finance team and take ownership of the accounts payable function while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process and ensure supplier transactions are accurately recorded. Review invoices, payment batches and creditor reconciliations. Review cashbook reconciliations and ensure alignment to the General Ledger. Process and review municipal accounts, utilities and related reporting. Analyse monthly utility variances and liaise with third parties regarding discrepancies. Prepare monthly accruals, provisions and Accounts Payable journals. Review payment schedules, cash flow schedules and online banking payments. Prepare local, private portfolio and international payment batches, including UK payments. Prepare and reconcile credit card transactions and journals. Analyse MDA reports for variances and allocation accuracy. Verify supplier, general ledger and property transactions within MDA. Review purchase orders and bank upload files. Assist with audit preparation and maintain accurate financial records. Manage petty cash and supplier correspondence. Provide support to the wider finance team when required. Job Experience and Skills Required: Proven experience in a Senior Accounts Payable or similar finance role. Strong understanding of accounting processes through to Trial Balance. MDA\/Broll Online experience is non-negotiable. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of accuracy with exceptional attention to detail. Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet strict deadlines. Apply now!
