JOB DESCRIPTION:

Accounts Receivable Specialist/contract

Responsibilities:

Overall Management of the Accounts Receivable:

Prepare invoice/credit
Verify taxes
Resolve any invoice issues from sales orders
Perform accounts
Documenting collections activity in cashflow
Resolve any collection disputes with customers
Escalate overdue accounts
Issue demand letters on delinquent accounts
Send delinquent accounts to collection
Make cash deposits at bank for cheques received at the local office
Maintain cash receipts in cashflow spreadsheet
Provide updates to Controller on collection status for all past due accounts
Maintain customer accounts in the ERP system which includes:
Post cash receipts from the bank daily to customer account by journal entry
Post invoice adjustments
Create new customer accounts
Ensure customer information in financial system is kept up to date
Month end
Income statement & balance sheet
Journal entries in ERP
Balance sheet reconciliations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 3-5 years international work experience in the full AR cycle
customer-oriented
Providing quality service
Professional communication
