This opportunity offers the perfect balance – an Actuarial Analyst role with a rapidly growing company based in one of South Africa’s most desirable coastal regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial & Risk Modelling – Develop, maintain, and validate actuarial models to support pricing, valuation, capital, and risk management decisions.
Data Analysis & Reporting – Analyse large datasets to identify trends, perform experience investigations, and prepare accurate actuarial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Regulatory & Compliance Support – Ensure actuarial work complies with relevant legislation, professional standards, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Business Decision Support – Provide insights and recommendations to management through scenario testing, sensitivity analysis, and financial projections to guide strategic decisions.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Studying towards Actuarial qualification OR recently qualified.
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Solid experience with actuarial modelling, risk analysis, or financial reporting (life/short-term insurance, pensions, or related areas).
Proficiency in Excel and actuarial/statistical tools (Prophet, SQL, R, Python, or similar).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into business value.
A proactive mindset, eager to grow within a high-performance environment.
