We support a network of brokers Ã¢Â€Â“ from one-man operations in outlying areas to large corporate brokers Ã¢Â€Â“ by providing them with the administrative, systems and technical support necessary to distribute our quality insurance solutions. POSITION INFO:

Job Purpose

A new vacancy is availabile within our business for a dynamic individual qualified in the field of Actuarial Science. This role offers tremendous opportunity for growth and development, with ongoing support and encouragement to further studies. The below summarises some of the responsibilities of this role:

Risk Analysis
Capital Modeling
Personal Lines and Commercial Pricing
Portfolio Analysis for various purposes such as reinsurance and reserving

Minimum Requirements

Must hold an Actuarial Degree from an accredited South African University with good academic record marked by strong analytical/ mathematical skills.
Must be making solid progress through professional exams, with at least 4 CT''s (A100''s and A200''s) already completed.
At least 3-4 years work experience is required within the Short-Term Insurance Industry.
Must be versatile and open to learnig opportunities
Must be fully computer literate with advanced MS Excel skills
SQL Proficiency will be an advantage
