My client is looking for an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join their Life Insurance Team in the retail space.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
A leading Insurance organization in South Africa is looking for a well versed Actuarial Analyst to join their team of high performing members, to focus on their life products in their retail division, with a specific focus on product functionality and stakeholder engagement. In this role, the successful candidate must have a strong affinity for all things product development related and a real passion for working with people. This role requires non-traditional actuarial skills as well as new problem-solving techniques to implement improvements.

Education:

BSc Actuarial Degree
Good actuarial exam progression

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Between 2 to 4 years’ experience in Life Insurance (preferably retail insurance)
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Previous product development experience will be advantageous
Strong academic record
Detail orientated
