POSITION INFO:
Join a consulting environment where no two weeks look the same. You’ll work with leading insurers across South Africa, help them tackle their thorniest actuarial challenges, and gain exposure to projects that stretch your technical and problem-solving skills.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup (Cape Town or Johannesburg), lead a small team of bright actuarial minds, and grow your consulting toolkit along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver valuation, IFRS 17, and SAM projects across multiple clients — no cookie-cutter work here.
Mentor, guide, and inspire junior actuarial team members.
Partner with clients to solve real business problems and present insights that drive change.
Bring fresh thinking to methodologies and continuously improve how projects are delivered.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Nearly or newly qualified Actuary (FASSA or equivalent).
2–3 years’ experience in life valuations, IFRS 17, and SAM.
Consulting experience or a strong desire to move into a consulting environment (yes, you must actually enjoy talking to people!).
Strong analytical skills paired with excellent communication — you can explain complex actuarial concepts simply and clearly.
Excited by a hybrid work model and comfortable working across multiple clients simultaneously.
