An exceptional opportunity is available in the Insurance industry for a Senior Actuary who is looking to further their career in the non-life insurance space.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
My client, an Insurance titan, is looking to provide an opportunity to an experienced nearly or qualified Actuary. This candidate will be responsible for various actuarial functions across the entire non-life space, such as pricing and product development, enterprise risk management, forecasting, reporting and stakeholder engagement as well as championing the ORSA process. This role is perfect for a natural born leader who can take full responsibility of projects as well as have enough confidence in their own technical capabilities.

Education:

BSc Actuarial Degree
Nearly or qualified Actuary
Honours Degree will be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in non-life insurance
1 to 2 years managerial experience will be advantageous
Previous experience in a corporate environment is crucial
Previous experience in pricing and product development will be advantageous
Good computer literacy (Excel, SQL, VBA etc.)
Efficient stakeholder engagement skills
Must be able to perform all actuarial tasks as efficiently and accurately as expected by management
