POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform IFRS 17 calculations for insurance contract liabilities and profits.
• Support profit forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reforecasting.
• Assist with solvency assessments in line with Financial Soundness Standards (formerly SAM).
• Contribute to actuarial valuations, financial reporting, and statutory submissions.

• Education:
  • Newly or nearly qualified Actuary (all exams completed).
  • Honours Degree in Actuarial Science.
• Experience: 3+ years in life insurance (valuation, reporting, or capital management).
• Skills:
  • Actuarial modelling software (Prophet or similar).
  • Data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS 17.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
