JOB SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in Pretoria. (INJECTION MOLDING)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Setup injection mould process recipes to meet end product specification requirements.
Process development and assembly sequencing (process flow chart) for new programs
Use industrial engineering methods to achieve workstation takt time
Manufacture feasibility analysis (DFA/DFM) and PFMEA on new products
Plant and process layout for new products and plant launches
Simulate continuous improvement process in plants (KAIZEN, DO IT) with the objective of MEQ
Work with SDT (Simultaneous Development Team) to complete product launches
Calculate MBOM’s (Mini Bills of Materials) for new products and work with the SDT in loading of MBOM’s into the MMS (Material Management System)
Conduct MBOM audits of parts

Experience and Qualifications:

Engineering Degree or Diploma (NQF level 5) in injection moulding, mechanical or industrial field or equivalent experience
At least 3 years’ experience in automotive industry
At least 3-5 years’ experience as Injection mould process Engineer within the automotive industry
Setting of Engel and Apex robots would be an advantage
Advanced computer literacy skills, including AUTOCAD or similar
Knowledge of injection molding machines, minimizing losses and write-offs.

Must be able to operate injection molding equipment.
