SUMMARY:

Join a leading IT hub in South Africa and contribute to innovative IT solutions globally. We are currently seeking a Test Automation Engineer (Advanced) for a flexible resources assignment. The successful candidate will play a key role in testing Type Approval Management features via automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of technical products within an agile/DevOps delivery model.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Automate Frontend, Backend, and Integration testing using Selenium, Cucumber, and other industry-standard tools.
Collaborate with team members on system analysis, design, development, and testing.
Manage and maintain test data, interpret testing results, and log defects using project management tools.
Integrate automation testing into build and deploy pipelines for development, regression, and release cycles.
Design and develop testing infrastructure, test frameworks, and reporting mechanisms.

Essential Skills Requirements:

Proficiency in Automation Frameworks: Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript.
Experience with CI/CD, version control, build and deployment pipelines.
Familiarity with SQL databases and cloud infrastructure.
Ability to automate Frontend, Backend, and Integration testing, as well as manage test data.

Advantageous Skills Requirements:

Development experience.
ISTQB Certification.
Experience with project management and collaboration tools.

Qualifications/Experience:

Relevant IT Degree.
Minimum of 2 years in a test automation role, with over 4 years' total experience in software development.
