Agricultural Parts Salesperson

SUMMARY:
National group are seeking a Agricultural Parts Salesperson in Harrismith, Free State who  will be responsible to sell the organisation's merchandise. Effectively displays the entire range of stock on hand and maintains the housekeeping of the stock and fittings. Administers and controls all cash and card transactions handled at the shop.

POSITION INFO:
RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Meet sales targets (there is a commission structure in place)
2. Manage inventory and ensure timely availability of essential parts
3. Ordering of stock according to movement and customer needs
4. Acquisition of parts that are not readily available or scarce, in due time
5. Promote and sell agricultural parts, accessories and solutions
6. Build strong relationships with clients
7. Willing to undergo continuous training
8. Other ad-hoc job related duties
9. Conflict management skills
10. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
11. Microsoft Office skills
12. Negotiation skills
13. A customer-first mindset and a drive to deliver results
14. Be goal driven and results orientated

1. Grade 12 or NQF 4 (both with mathematics)
2. Previous experience in sales and marketing of parts is essential
3. Agricultural knowledge and a passion for the industry
4. Ability to work under pressure
5. Orientation towards marketing and client service
6. Stay up-to-date technologies
