SUMMARY:
Aircraft Design Engineer

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Electrical Designer to join our team. As an Aircraft Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for aircraft. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all designs are compliant with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical systems for aircraft
Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure that electrical systems are integrated with other aircraft systems
Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable harnesses
Conduct electrical load analysis and sizing of electrical components
Ensure that designs comply with regulatory requirements and company standards
Participate in the development of test plans and procedures for electrical systems
Provide technical support to production teams during the manufacturing and assembly of electrical systems
Develop and maintain design documentation
Continuously improve design processes and procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft electrical design
Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems and components
Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or CATIA
Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as FAA, EASA, or Transport Canada
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
