Are you an ambitious Systems Engineer with a passion for innovation in the aerospace and defense industry? We’re seeking a skilled and driven individual to join a cutting-edge engineering team based in Centurion. They focus on Optical Systems for the international Civil and Security Industry.

POSITION INFO:

You’ll be working alongside a seasoned engineer with a career rooted in missile development, aircraft systems, and mission-critical technologies—someone who played a pivotal role in the AHRLAC aircraft design team, leading mission system integration and innovation.

🚀 What You''ll Be Involved In:

Systems Engineering

Support end-to-end system development and integration
Apply MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) tools and principles
Contribute to platform-level integration and weapon qualification

Flight Test Engineering

Plan and conduct flight tests for weapon development
Develop test plans and flight test cards
Lead aerodynamic, algorithmic, and sensor-specific testing

Control & Guidance Algorithm Development

Build and simulate in 6DoF environments
Develop autopilot systems for guided glide weapons
Implement Kalman filters for target tracking
Design and test guidance laws

🧠 We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Is passionate about aircraft, control systems, and advanced defense technologies
Has hands-on experience or a strong interest in system engineering, flight testing, or control algorithm development
Thrives in a dynamic, R&D-focused environment
