Airfreight & Road Freight Operations Manager

POSITION INFO:
My client from a Freight Forwarding Company is seeking an Airfreight and Roadfreight Operations Manager to join their team

Staff compliment -+ 10-12 staff day to day
Manage daily air and road freight operations, ensuring KPI and SOP compliance
Oversee A–Z shipments, Estimates, Forwarding, and invoicing multimodal (air + road) logistics
Lead and develop the operations team, including performance management and training
Handle escalations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Ensure compliance with IATA, DG, customs, and road transport regulations
Monitor reports, profitability, and cost control across all shipments
Manage warehouse coordination, dispatch, and inventory activities
Oversee carrier, agent, and transporter relationships, including rate negotiations
Identify growth opportunities and support business development initiatives

Matric
Minimum 5 years suitable experience
Experience in Shipshape will be an added advantage
