POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS
Qualification/Knowledge (Including Most Relevant Field Of Study)
Minimum Matric and BSc Computer science
Relevant AWS certifications
Knowledge of development and analysis
SQL knowledge
C++ knowledge or JAVA
Ideal:
CI/CD, DevOps, AWS
GoLang
Kubernetes
API development

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Perspectives
Finance
Cost Management
Manage and control individual costs

Stakeholder Engagement

Manage and maintain good stakeholder relationships
Deliver on internal and external stakeholder requirements/SLA’s

Delivery of Processes / Projects

Strategic Alignment
Deliver on BU goals and activities aligned to strategy

Initiatives/ Projects for Continuous Improvement

Identify and scope opportunities for improvement / innovation
Deliver client or company specific projects in line with company standards and in agreement with line manager

Support and Maintenance

Analyze and solve problems and incidents on production and test UAT environments
Build, pretest and install any required changes
24/7 support on real time systems

Compliance and Risk Management

Policies and procedures: Provide input into relevant policies and procedures
Compliance: Comply with relevant policies & procedures, regulation and legislation
Risk: Identify and escalate risks appropriately

People

Skills transfer and support
Assist team members to ensure understanding of required deliverables and stay abreast of technical skills
Contribute to the development of a positive team culture
