POSITION INFO:

A once in a lifetime opportunity has become available for an Analyst Programmer in one of South Africa’s top IT industry. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years software development experience with expert level C# programming skills is ESSENTIAL. As this is an intermediary to senior level position, level of experience and in software development will be screened strictly.
• Candidates must have good communication skills and be able to liaise with business on their requirements

Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

• 10 years in a similar position
• Verbal and Written Communication Skills Computer Literate
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel Knowledge & Skills Microsoft Office Knowledge & Skills – MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook Oracle knowledge would be beneficial

• Liaise with customer base on system requirements and integration with business processes.
• Assist operations and support staff with the resolution of operational problems
• Scoping / strategy sessions with the customer base / technical team and MIS to determine the longer term strategy and other complimentary platforms within the global corporation that fit the Enterprise Architecture of the company.
• Training of customer base in relevant tools where applicable.
• Assist with technical guidance and on-the-job training of less experienced staff, and check work of colleagues as required. Coding and building enterprise solutions, using appropriate technologies such as ASP/ASP.Net, VB/VB.Net, SQL, Abap, JSon, HTML5, C#, Mobile etc.
• Design and development of databases including SQL queries and stored procedures.
• SQL server administration and monitoring functions.
• Analyze and Design data exploitation systems to deliver information to business users, e.g. dashboards and information portals.
• Analyze and Design client applications for business user decision support.
• Assist in identifying, interpreting and providing business intelligence systems to enable organization wide decision making.
• Apply development and operational processes and standards within the development team.
• Revise and amend systems and programs where corrections, system changes, improvements or database administration are required
• Coding and building Enterprise Solutions, using appropriate technologies such as
• ASP/ASP.Net
• C#
• HTML5
• JSon
• Rest Services
• Mobile
