SUMMARY:
Our client in Wellington is seeking an Animal Scientist I (Formulation) - Task Grade 13 to join their team. The successful candidate will have a relevant agricultural degree (M.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Agriculture), with post-graduate studies in animal nutrition being advantageous. A minimum of 4-6 years of experience is required, along with a solid understanding of formulation software and advanced computer literacy, particularly in Excel. Knowledge of statistical analyses and strong planning and reporting skills will be beneficial. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication abilities, a team player mindset, a valid driver’s license, and their own transport.

REQUIREMENTS:

DUTIES:- Manage feed raw materials matrixes and conduct new formulation feasibility studies
- Design & maintain feed specifications
- Provide technical support to production
- Monitor and assist in Final product monitoring
- Procurement and pricing support
- Manage NIR data and information
