SUMMARY:
On the lookout for an Applications Support Specialist (SharePoint) to co-ordinateÃ¢Â€Â™s systems deployments and assists to retrieve stored data. Investigates and resolves or escalates system malfunctions. The ideal candidates need to have tier 2 and tier 3 experience

POSITION INFO:

• Management of SharePoint and AdVnet
• SharePoint 2013 Website Administration and setup.
• Office 365 administration.
• MS Teams and Skype for business, administration.
• Provide monitoring, support, investigation, and fault administration on Applications
• Escalates Incidents and problems to higher-level support
• Prepares test cases and tests Applications
• Provides 2nd and 3rd level support to clients ensuring user satisfaction and understanding of the system functionality.
• Assists with Applications checks maintenance, upgrades, and rollouts
• Schedule and monitor Applications specific jobs/tasks
• Achievement of customer SLA
• Manage Application-specific problems
• Prepare and present training sessions on Applications to users and junior staff
• Compile Knowledge Articles for Applications
• Provide accurate and clear verbal and written reporting for application failure investigations and resolution
• Perform investigations on application support techniques to continually improve operational support and simplify achievement of customer SLAs
• Participate in periodic support compliance audits
• Adhoc activities

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Matric
Certificate/Diploma in IT
2 Years’ experience in an IT support environment
Sound problem solving exposure at application and business transaction level
