SUMMARY:
A well-established electrical company requires an Area Sales Manager - ICT network hardware for the Johannesburg area. The Area Manager will be accountable for achieving the sales objectives of their geography, branch budget prep and cost management, whilst ensuring performance of their sales teams.

POSITION INFO:
Key Performance Areas include the following:
Team Leadership & Development:

Lead and guide sales team to achieve targets through coaching, performance reviews, and recognition.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff to enhance sales skills and meet KPIs.
Create a positive work environment to support professional growth.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

Align team goals with company sales strategies to drive revenue.
Oversee daily operations and Key Accounts to ensure sales and service targets are met.
Analyze budgets for cost-saving opportunities and increased profitability.

Client & Customer Relations:

Deliver timely, high-quality service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate new business.
Address customer concerns quickly and efficiently.

Marketing & Strategy:

Develop marketing plans to increase brand visibility and meet sales goals.
Conduct market research on trends, consumer behavior, and competitors.
Hold meetings to review business updates, challenges, and opportunities.

Operational Efficiency:

Optimize resource use and time management to improve efficiency.
Continuously evaluate and streamline business processes to enhance performance.

Essential experience and qualification

Matric
Proven success in a proactive sales role
Experience in the ICT cabling and network hardware industry
Consistently meets and exceeds targets
Skilled in account management and business growth
