Area Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Our client is recruiting for a Sales Representative. The suitable candidate will be covering the Eastern Cape area (East London). Candidate MUST have a valid drivers license and comfortable with driving.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• At least 5 years Solid Sales Experience
• FMCG
• Valid driver's licence
• Sales experience with a proven sales track record is an advantage
• Computer Skills in word and Excel

• Assisting in the operation of allocated commercial stores.
• Evaluate and promote better services to customers where required.
• Control and monitoring of Fixtures.
• Monitoring of stores monthly sales and growth in accordance with company targets.
• Implement strategic initiatives as required by the Line Manager.
• Ensure that all listed products are ordered and displayed in applicable stores.
• Responsible for ordering and follow-up of all Seasonal and Everyday stock.
• Evaluate and analyse allocated stores monthly sales and growth in accordance with monthly targets.
• Implement store disciplines as stipulated in Show file.
• Adhere to and implement procedures as stipulated in the
• Procedure manual.
• Managing of Merchandisers
• Responsible for coaching merchandisers, planning, assigning, and directing work disciplining merchandisers; addressing complaints and resolving problems – all in conjunction with the Line manager.
• Ensure that staff adhere to all procedures and requirements as specified in the Sales procedure manual and Show file.
• Incumbent to perform other duties as may be required from time to time
