Area Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
AREA SALES REPRESENTATIVE 
Location: Kempton Park

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS: 

• Relevant Diploma or Degree.
• 2–8 years' sales experience.
• Materials handling and/or industrial equipment sales experience essential.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements: Matric. A tertiary qualification will be advantageous. 2-8 years' experience in external sales within the material handling or industrial equipment industry. Experience managing small, medium, and large national accounts. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple sales pipelines. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Excellent communication and presentation skills. Willingness to travel as required. Material handling equipment experience will be advantageous. Sales experience within the East Rand territory will be advantageous. Personality Traits: Customer-focused and relationship-driven. Duties and responsibilities: Develop, grow, and maintain strong relationships with customers within the East Rand territory. Identify and secure new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts. Promote and sell the company's material handling equipment and solution offerings. Understand customer requirements and recommend the most suitable solutions. Maintain comprehensive product knowledge to provide expert advice. Deliver professional and persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients. Negotiate and successfully conclude sales opportunities. Develop and implement customer strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and reporting. Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports for the Sales Manager. Identify cross-selling opportunities to maximise customer value. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer service and support. Stay informed of market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
