Ass to FM (Focus on Costing)

Looking for a detail-oriented Ass to FM (Focus on Costing) to join our client in CPT - Northern Suburbs.
Must have 4-6 years of experience in Accounting/Auditing sectors. Key responsibilities include Financial Reporting & Analysis, Accounting Operations, Budgeting & Forecasting, Compliance & Internal Controls, Tax & Audit Support, and more.

We are seeking a skilled Ass to FM (Focus on Costing) to support our Manager in Western Cape. As a mid-career professional with 4-6 years of experience in Accounting/Auditing sectors, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assisting FM in preparing accurate financial statements.

• Accounting Operations: Overseeing day-to-day accounting functions.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting in budget formulation and expense tracking.

• Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensuring adherence to regulations and company policies.

• Tax & Audit Support: Assisting with tax filing and audit documentation.

• Stock Support: Overseeing stock take and implementing necessary controls.

• Investigation: Conducting cost and variance analysis.

• ERP System Controls: Loading pricing and assisting with stock adjustments.

• Costings: Assisting with product cost planning and production management.

• Recon on Costings: Evaluating product costing and reconciling based on a Bill of material.

• Operational Reporting: Generating key financial reports.

• Team Support: Mentoring accounting staff.

Key skills for this role include Costing and variance analysis, Cash Flow supervision, Stock valuations, Budgeting, TAX and Audit knowledge. A completed qualification with preference to Article candidates is preferred. If you have the required experience and skills, we would love to hear from you.
