Job Duties:
- Assist in the management of lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Oversee and conduct seafaring activities, including sailing trips and boat maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Manage and coordinate staff schedules and tasks
- Assist in marketing and promoting lodge and seafaring services
- Handle guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Skipper's licence
- Experience in managing lodge operations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations in seafaring activities
Education:
Relevant qualifications in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of lodge management procedures
- Proficiency in seafaring techniques and navigation
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Additional language proficiency
Working Conditions:
This role may require work on weekends, public holidays, and irregular hours. The position involves outdoor activities and exposure to varying weather conditions.
