This is a great opportunity to join a leading hotel and casino brand as an Assistant Financial Controller.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client is a leading hotel and casino brand in search of an Assistant Financial Controller who is equally adept at cost-saving initiatives as they are with stakeholder engagement.
The successful candidate must be a dynamic individual because besides overseeing the full accounting function, you will also be responsible for building and leading a new team to new heights.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all financial accounting functions for the casino is performed timeously, accurately and compliant with company policy and gambling board regulations.
Assist operations management to reduce costs and improve profit by analysing and reporting financial data.
Manage budget formulation process that results in accurate delivery on time and closely monitored.
Maintain accurate records of company accounts strictly in line with legal requirements.
Build a competent and motivated team of accounting staff through confident leadership.
