Assistant Financial Manager– Johannesburg
R600 00 – R650 000

Are you a newly qualified CA(SA) and looking to join a national company which is highly reputable in the market? My client in the entertainment industry is looking to hire an Assistant Financial Manager who is passionate about financial management.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities Include:

Developing and analysing forecasts and budgets
Meeting reporting deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Communicating with external and internal audit regarding audit processes
Assessing annual financial statements and financial reviews.
Providing support and maintain service levels to all internal stakeholders
Working efficiently with consolidation and accounting systems and processes
Providing technical input and assistance (emerging issues re IFRS, Tax, and Companies Act etc.)

Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge:

Newly Qualified CA(SA)
Experience in Benchmarking
IFRS
Possessing exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
Having the capacity to perform adhoc tasks as required
Microsoft Excel and Word
Taxation
Experience in formulation of accounting policies
Accpac, Insight and CaseWare
