SUMMARY:
A 5-star game lodge is looking for a hands-on and reliable Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Maintenance Head in overseeing the property’s technical operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong general maintenance skills and experience working in a remote hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining all lodge infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs
Conduct routine inspections to ensure preventative maintenance is carried out
Supervise maintenance staff and contractors when required
Support in managing inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Ensure all work is carried out according to health and safety standards

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

3+ years’ maintenance experience in a lodge, hotel, or similar environment
Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and basic construction systems
Hands-on, solution-driven, and physically fit
Strong communication and organisational skills
Valid driver’s license
Willing to live and work in a remote area
