Assistant Resident Engineer

SUMMARY:
A client of ours within the Consulting Engineering sector is looking for an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer with hands-on background in new roads works, road rehabilitation, earthworks, pavement layers, and drainage systems to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Location Limpopo Requirements: Professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist BEng, BSC or B-Tech degree in Civil Engineering Minimum of 5 years working as a Resident Engineer on road projects Strong familiarity with local road specifications such as COLTO, COTO, and TMH Understanding of contract administration of various foms of contracts such as GCC, FIDIC, or COTO applications Responsibilities: Supervising construction sites, ensuring projects meet design specifications, and managing budgets, timelines, and contract administration Act as a primary link between the client, design engineers, and contractors Contract Administration and Management Quality Control and Engineering Oversight Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Stakeholder Management
