ASSISTANT SPA MANAGER - 2nd in command

PRIVATE RESORT & WELLNESS SPA | South Africa - (ZA)

START: March 2026

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Sunday
• 08:00 - 20:00 (shifts apply)
• 3 Weeks ON / 1 Week OFF

REPORTS TO: SPA Manager / GM / CEO

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R18,000 - R25,000 per month / NEG (Based on desired experience)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Beautifully groomed & professionally presentable - your presence must exude Premium Spa, Luxury & Exclusivity
2. Confident in English language (Speak, Read & Write) - we deal with international, UHNW, clients
3. Formal, recognized qualification in SPA / Beauty / Skin Care or Cosmetology 
4. CIDESCO / ITEC / CIBTAC / SAAHSP accredited certification
5. Spa Management certification / training - BONUS
6. At least FIVE years in a senior therapist / assistant manager / spa supervisor role of a Cruise Ship Spa / Resort Spa or 5-star Hotel
7. Certification from a recognized Training facility with qualifications in either Spa / Beauty / Cosmetology / Spa Management
8. Computer literate with booking systems, emails and reports
9. International employment experience is highly favourable
10. Ability to lead a strong, dynamic team of driven SPA professionals in the absence of the SPA Manager
11. Ability to work remotely and independently 
12. Accountable for your team's performance - lead with leadership and vision, not an authoritarian 
13. Sober habits - you must live a life of wellness (fit and healthy to do your daily tasks)
14. Able to assist where operationally required (Front of House / Reception / Therapies / Management)
15. Solid support for the Manager - you are the Dynamic Duo
